Grinder Man in Arkansas City

I grew up eating thru the late 70's & the 80's it was wonderful then. I just got a cheeseburger that must have been precooked and reheated in microwave not impressed. Won't be back!

Great sandwiches

Its a hometown restaurant. If you're not from here, you don't get it. Grinder Man sandwich with a giant cookie. Yes, please.

It was amazing. Good food. I had there popcorn chicken bowl and a club. Food was well worth the wait.

Friday mornings 8:30-10:30 (2) French Toast (with liquid cheesecake syrup!), 2 bacon & 2 egg breakfast. Enjoying the new decor and new menu items.

Very disappointed, my fiance and I got a cheeseburger and it was disgusting I could barely eat it, the hamburger had hardly no taste besides that it was setting out all day, burnt on the edges, and that it came from a microwave. Even worse, I have a horrible stomachache now.This place use to be good! What happened! I could go find a better cheeseburger from a gas station!

Large delicious cookies that are not too pricey

Even if it's not expensive, it doesn't really make you want to, we regret stopping there to try.

Small little locally owned sandwiche shop. I always get the hero maxi. It's a nice change from fast food and you can write on the walls!

The cookies and the Italian sub are good

For the few non big chain eateries in this town, I have to say I was disappointed. I ordered the Italian sandwich. It consisted of a warmed up roll that you could easily get at a grocery store. I at least thought they would have baked their own bread. The deli meat was the same. It tasted like someone got cheap meat at a deli counter. The Italian dressing which I thought would be a homemade dressing, because its simple to make, was nothing more than bottled Kraft Italian dressing. The cheap prices reflected in product. Not a single attempt was made to make a good sandwich. I also got some cookies. They looked a bit more authentic to resemble something homemade. Nope! One standard base cookie recipe distributed to six other cookies, and just changing the mix in. Very let down. You're better off making a sandwich at home.

Everytime I go into this business and the "manager" is working. She glares at me and is saracastic and mean. I have a service dog that accompanys me due to my disability. I have tremors and am sometimes messy but I Always take the time to clean up my mess and throw the trash away. Regardless ..she obviously has issues with me coming into her business. I go there to get a drink, because it's the closest to where I live.

Fantastic place to eat! Came back to town for 35th class reunion & had to eat here!

It would be nice if they could just get a simple order correct.

The food was mediocre. The service was HORRIBLE!! The woman working the counter was a miserable person. She acted as if we upset her by coming in the door, i guess that was because she had to put her phone down for 2 minutes to wait on us. $20.00 for 2 lunch platters....what a waste. We travel the country and always try to support local businesses wherever we go, this was one of the worst !

To much money for very little meat product on a thick Bunn. Subway had more bang for the buck.

$7.50 for a sub the size of a hot dog bun and nothing special. Ridiculous prices for the amount of food you get.

Best sandwich on arkcity plus they have huge super soft cookies

I have grown up eating at grinder man in Wichita. It is just as good here.
